That said, I ask Claude Code directly for a notes app, and it makes it quickly without using many tokens. With PaellaDoc it took an hour. What is the advantage of PaellaDoc?

The advantage usually isn’t in “making a simple app faster”; for that, going straight to Claude Code may well be better.
PaellaDoc brings more value when the project starts to grow: it keeps the product context better, organizes the documentation, reduces back-and-forth in longer changes, and makes the work more reproducible across multiple iterations.
The trade-off is exactly that: more preparation and more time upfront, so in small prototypes it can feel slower and less token-efficient.
Simply put: if you want a fast notes app, PaellaDoc probably isn’t the best tool; if you want to build something bigger without losing the thread, that’s where it makes the most sense.

In general, making things maintainable is like an investment: there’s an initial cost, and a long-term return that far exceeds that initial cost.
But of course, there has to be a long term for it to be worth it
